Every day is a gift from God, so make it count. If you knew that today was your last day on earth, how would you live it? What would you say? What would you do? So often in life, we take many things for granted, especially our family and friends. If you knew that today was your last day, would you want to spend it alone or with those you love?
Make today count! Start building your legacy. Forget ‘outwardly’ material items and start focusing on what matters… LOVE. Spend time with your family and friends, not just in physical presence, but with emotional presence. Put your phone away, talk to each other, play games, laugh a lot, dance in the rain, go for a walk, and enjoy the time together. There is no better gift than love. Nothing even comes close!
So I ask you again if today was your last day, do you think you would spend your time buying a new Maserati or a new diamond necklace? Or would you spend time laughing with others, smiling, hugging, holding hands, and expressing moments of love? These emotional moments are what matters. These are the moments that count.
Today enjoy a family dinner and spend quality time together. Share stories, tell jokes and laugh more because this is what matters. Time spent with others is priceless, especially when it comes from the heart. Let love be your legacy.
How can you make today count? Start by spending quality time with those you love. Enjoy the company of others, be kind, show compassion, and listen more. Journal each day and write down how you brought happiness to others. The more you make others happy, the happier you will be.
How did you help someone smile today? All of these acts of love are how you make today count! It’s not about proving your financial worth or boasting about your high powered career, because no one cares about that but you. What people do care about is how much they were loved. And trust me when I tell you that the more love you give, the happier you will be.
So make today count and share that love!
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
