Day 3: Thanksgiving Challenge
On the 3rd day of our Thanksgiving Challenge, let’s be thankful for creativity. Everyone of us has some sense of creativity, whether it be music, painting, writing, woodworking, knitting, drawing, craftwork, coaching style, baking or one of many forms of creative expression. Some of us find the time to pursue our talents, while others ignore their gift of creativity because they either can’t find the time, or have no reason to pursue it. But the gift of creativity can help many find themselves, and bring joy to others.
Today, reflect on your gift of creativity. Do you love to paint? If so, grab your paintbrush and some paint, and start painting. Be still in that moment and find your happiness. God gave each of us a unique talent, EVERYONE OF US, has some form of creative expression, we just have to find it. For me, I love to write – not a day goes by that I don’t write. I love waking up every morning and writing, it feeds my soul. It’s my happy place. Maybe you are a great cook… or maybe a baker… whatever it is – find it, create it and appreciate it.
Whatever form of creativity, God has given you, cherish it and most importantly – SHARE IT! Creativity is a unique gift from God and one that we should be thankful for.
He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.
