Today, on Day 9 of the Thanksgiving challenge, let’s all be thankful for our gift of Movement. Do not waste another moment, sitting in front of the television wasting away. God has given us the gift of movement, so get up an move. Maybe consider a hike, or a new exercise class or maybe even try fly fishing or a round of golf. If you want to try something more productive clean your house, or work on that chore you never had time to do. But let’s all move our bodies and appreciate our capability of movement. Maybe you want to take an adventure and walk along the Hudson River or on the beaches of San Diego. Whatever you choose to do today, do it with purpose. God does not like lazy, just saying..
What does the bible tell us about movement, or not being lazy….
The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied. – Proverbs 13:4
A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. – Proverbs 10:4
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. 1 Corinthians 9:24
Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees. Hebrews 12:12
Let’s get up and move! Make today a great day, and thank God for the gift of movement and the will to deter laziness.
