Poof… Anxiety is Gone!

I was listening to a great YouTube video yesterday that made so much sense. I knew I had to share it with those of you who are experiencing anxiety, stress and depression. Not only do these three words cause emotional dismay but they wreak havoc on your health. This one quote that I heard was profound:

When you know the outcome, anxiety leaves you.”

We all know the outcome when God is on our side. He told us he will protect us. Pray, and know that He is the Overcomer. God is our source of hope. He is the ultimate Conqueror. When you have a wave of worry upon you, where your mind is going in all directions, you can’t sleep and, you feel a sense of hopelessness – you need to focus on God. Pray to Him, see Him, and KNOW that He WILL help. If you are a Christian, then believe. Heck, even if you are not a Christian….believe.

So before you begin your day today, pray to God and know that he will guide you. Release your worry, like a feather in the wind. Just let it fly away. Focus on God and KNOW that he WILL help. Here are a few quotes to help you understand that God is the ultimate cure for anxiety, depression, and stress.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Phillipians 4:6-7

I know it’s hard to believe these words when you are struggling with thoughts of losing your house, feeding your kids, or dealing with the death of a loved one, but these words are true. His peace exceeds anything we can possibly understand. You know the outcome when GOD is on your side. Now believe it. Pray today with all your heart, focus on God and let your worry fly away. You are important to this world, and your life makes a difference. Worry is a nuisance that wreaks havoc on your health and destroys your happiness. So just let it go.

From personal experience, every time that I worry or feel myself thinking about things that are keeping me up at night, I pray to God, visualize Jesus holding my hand, and KNOW that tomorrow is going to be a blessing. NOTE: There is one great aspect of worry, and that is our reminder that Jesus needs our attention. Lose the worry, focus on HIM and watch anxiety melt away.
